3-2 Serial ASCII Communications

Use an SLC 5/03, 5/04, or

5/05 out Channel Zero

The SLC processor is set up very similar to the PLC processor. The SLC

processor uses the same ladder logic as the PLC processor shown

below.

To use an SLC processor out Channel Zero on a display:

1. Create the new application and then set up the channel

configuration as shown.

2. Under the general tab make sure the mode for channel 0 is set

to USER.
