Slide-In Fan Replacement (for 3000A 1395 DC Drives) 3 Preliminary Steps Before replacing the slide-in fan, shut off the drive power, wait five minutes for the voltage to discharge, open the disconnect bay door, and remove the bay Lexan™ shielding. Removing the Slide-In Fan and Capacitor 1. Disconnect the capacitor and fan connection plugs. 2. Remove the capacitor from the mounting bracket, unscrewing the rear nut. 3. Pull the two mounting pins out from the front of the fan assembly. 4.

Slide-In Fan Replacement (for 3000A 1395 DC Drives) Installing the Slide-In Fan and Capacitor 1. Slide the fan into the bracket assembly and replace the fan Lexan shielding. 2. Push the two mounting pins into the fan bracket assembly. 3. Mount the capacitor into the bracket, fastening the nut (with washer) onto the back of the capacitor. Torque to 26 in-lb. 4.
