PowerFlex 700H and 700S Drives - Frame 10 Procedures Chapter 2

AC or DC Fan System Fuses (20-PP20202) and Fuse Holder (20-

PP20300) Removal and Installation

The fan system fuses and fuse holder are located on the front of the drive, next to

the gate driver board. Follow these steps to remove and replace the fan system

fuse holder.

1. Review the General Precautions on page 17

2. Remove power from the drive. See Remove Power from the Drive on page

3. Move the control frame and remove the air flow plate and protective

covers from the drive. See Move the Control Frame and Remove the Air

Flow Plate and Protective Covers on page 60

4. Remove the fuses from the fuse holder.

5. Check the fuses. See Checking the Fan Inverter Fuses on page 263

6. Disconnect the four fuse power wires (black and red pairs) connected to

the top and bottom of the fuse holder.
