C-4 HIM Overview
Parameter Menu
Refer to Viewing and Editing Parameters on page C-5.
Device Select Menu
Use this menu to access parameters in connected peripheral devices.
Memory Storage Menu
Drive data can be saved to, or recalled from, User and HIM sets.
User sets are files stored in permanent non-volatile drive memory.
HIM sets are files stored in permanent non-volatile HIM memory.

Preferences Menu
The HIM and drive have features that you can customize.
The LPM15 drive is initially set to Basic Parameter View. To view all
parameters, set parameter 196 [Param Access Lvl] to option “1”
(Advanced). Parameter 196 is not affected by the Reset to Defaults function.
Option Description
HIM Copycat
Device -->HIM
Device <-- HIM
Save data to a HIM set, load data from a HIM set to active drive memory or
delete a HIM set.
Device User Sets Save data to a User set, load data from a User set to active drive memory or
name a User set.
Reset To Defaults Restore the drive to its factory-default settings.
Option Description
Drive Identity Add text to identify the drive.
Change Password Enable/disable or modify the password.
User Dspy Lines Select the display, parameter, scale and text for the User Display. The User
Display is two lines of user-defined data that appears when the HIM is not
being used for programming.
User Dspy Time Set the wait time for the User Display or enable/disable it.
User Dspy Video Select Reverse or Normal video for the Frequency and User Display lines.
Reset User Dspy Return all the options for the User Display to factory default values.
