Viewing and Editing
Parameters
LCD HIM
Numeric Keypad Shortcut
If using a HIM with a numeric keypad, press the ALT key and the +/– key to
access the parameter by typing its number.
Option Description
Drive Identity Add text to identify the drive.
Change Password Enable/disable or modify the password.
User Dspy Lines Select the display, parameter, scale and text for the User Display. The User Display is
two lines of user-defined data that appears when the HIM is not being used for
programming.
User Dspy Time Set the wait time for the User Display or enable/disable it.
User Dspy Video Select Reverse or Normal for the Frequency and User Display lines.
Reset User Dspy Return all the options for the User Display to factory default values.
Step Example Displays
1. In the Main Menu, press the or key to
scroll to “Parameter.”
2. Press the (Enter) key. “FGP File” appears on the
top line and the first three files appear below it.
3. Press the or key to scroll through the
files.
4. Press the (Enter) key to select a file. The groups
in the file are displayed under it.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to select a group and then a
parameter. The parameter value screen will appear.
6. Press the (Enter) key to edit the parameter.
7. Press the or key to change the value. If
desired, press the key to move from digit to
digit, letter to letter, or bit to bit. The digit or bit that
you can change will be highlighted.
8. Press the (Enter) key to save the value. If you
want to cancel a change, press the key.
9. Press the or key to scroll through the
parameters in the group, or press the key to
return to the group list.
