Commissioning the
Protection Functions
This section describes the use of RSNetWorx for DeviceNet to configure the
function settings of the E3 Overload Relays. The product should now be
configured and communicating on the network. The last step is to program the
motor FLA Setting, Parameter# 28, and additional setting per the application
requirements. This can be accomplished by using software such as RSNetWorx
for DeviceNet or another handheld DeviceNet tool.
1. Using the RSNetWorx software, access the Device Parameters tab. The
following window appears.
2. Type the desired setting values corresponding to the motor connected to
the E3 Overload Relay.
3. Make sure the Single radio button is selected within On-Line, then select
Download to Device.
