CHAPTER OBJECTIVES

Chapter 5 describes the various controls and indicators found

on the SMP-3 Human Interface Module (HIM) and the Drive

HIM.

HIM DESCRIPTION

Each HIM shown has two panels: a display panel and a control

panel. The display panel enables the user to:

 program the SMP-3 overload relay

 view operating parameters

The control panel enables the user to:

 control output A

 control output B

 reset the SMP-3 overload relay
