Module Status Indicators

This section describes the EtherNet/IP modules’ status indicators for the

SoftLogix system.

The EtherNet/IP modules have these status indicators.

Link Status (LINK) Indicator

Indicator Description

LINK Indicator Display Description

Off No link • The module is not connected to a powered Ethernet device.

• The module cannot communicate on Ethernet.Verify that all

Ethernet cables are connected.

• Verify that the Ethernet switch is powered.

Flashing green Data transmission • The module is communicating on Ethernet.

• Normal operation. No action required.

Solid green Link OK • The module is connected to a powered Ethernet device.

• The module can communicate on Ethernet.

• Normal operation. No action required.
