4. Select Search for a suitable driver and click Next.
At this point you need to select where the file is located.
5. Select one of the following:
• Floppy disk drives if you are going to use a floppy disk that
contains the driver
• CD-ROM drives if you are going to get the file from the RSLinx
CDROM Version 2.2 or later
• Specify a location if you downloaded the driver file from the
Rockwell Automation Website.
If you select: Then:
Floppy disk drives insert the PnP drivers disk into the drive and click Next.
The operating system will search for the appropriate
driver.
CD-ROM drives insert the RSLinx CD into the drive and click Next. The
operating system will search for the appropriate driver.
Specify a location use this selection if you have downloaded the driver
from the Rockwell Automation Website. You will be
prompted for the location path of the driver.
