1784PCM5/B Cable
About This Document
Use this document to install the 1784-PCM5/B cable. This cable
connects the 1784-PCMK/B card to a PLC-2

, PLC-3

, or PLC-5

processor for DH+t communication.
Using the 1784-PCM5/B cable, you can connect the 1784-PCMK
card to:
• PLC-2 or Mini-PLC-2 processor (via 1785-KA3)
• PLC-3 processor (via 1775-S5)
• PLC-3/10 processor (via 1775-SR5)
• PLC-5/10, -5/12, -5/15, or -5/25 processors
(via 9-pin D-shell connector)
The cable also connects the 1784-PCMK card to enhanced PLC-5
processors via an 8-pin mini-DIN connector and 1784-CP7. This allows
for the connection to the following PLC-5 processors:
• PLC5/1 1 • PLC-5/20 • PLC5/20C • PLC5/20E
• PLC5/30 • PLC 5/40 • PLC 5/40C • PLC5/40E
• PLC 5/40L • PLC 5/60 • PLC 5/60C • PLC 5/60L
• PLC5/80 • PLC5/80C (enhanced)
