2-8 Configure the Card Hardware

Important: If you are using the “no interrupt” setting, you must place the
jumper vertically over two pins on the right-side row as shown.
This way you can save the jumper for future use. Placing the
jumper on the left-side row will cause interrupt problems on the
motherboard.

using the card’s default interrupt settings, i.e.,
no interrupt
go to the next section, Installing the Card
Inside the Computer
setting new interrupts move the jumper to the new interrupt
location(s) (as entered on Table 2.E,
page 2-10)
