Connect a Computer to Any
Network
To access a network, either:
• connect directly to the network or
• connect to a different network and browse (bridge) to the desired
network. This requires no additional programming.
The figure below shows your options.
IMPORTANT
To use RSNetWorx software to configure and schedule a
ControlNet network, either:
• connect to an EtherNet/IP network and bridge to the
ControlNet network or
• use one of the laptop or desktop cards listed below to
connect directly to the ControlNet network.

only the devices on that network.
