Word Bit Description
EPC03 B13 Ejector Tip Strokes Selection
= 0 All Ejector Strokes to be Full Strokes.
= 1 Intermediate Ejector Strokes to be Tip Strokes
if: then the module:
EPC64 is greater than one determines from this bit what type of ejector strokes are required
RESET executes Ejector Profile using only full ejector strokes and ignores EPC21 - EPC32
SET executes the Ejector Profile using the:
full advance setpoints (EPC09 - EPC20) only for initial advance stroke
full retract setpoints (EPC33 - EPC44) only for final retract stroke
tip advance/retract setpoints (EPC21 - EPC32) for all intermediate ejector strokes
B14 Velocity Units Selection
= 0 Velocity Parameters in Percent Velocity
= 1 Velocity Parameters in in.(mm)/s
if: then the module:
RESET returns all segment velocity actuals (and assumes all velocity setpoints) in percent velocity where EAC46
and ERC46 represent 100% velocity.
SET returns all velocity actuals (and assumes all velocity setpoints) in in.(mm)/s.
B15 Ejector Forward Dwell Selection
= 0 Apply Forward Dwell on Final Stroke.
= 1 Apply Forward Dwell on Initial Stroke.
Informs Module when to start internal Ejector Forward Dwell Timer (EPC57)
if: then the module:
RESET starts the timer when ejector reaches its final advanced position (EPC59 when EPC03-B13 = 0 or
EPC29 when EPC03-B13 = 1)
The timer accumulated value must equal or exceed EPC57 before the module may start the final full retract portion of
the Ejector Profile.
if: then the module:
SET starts the timer when the ejector reaches its initial fully advanced position (EPC59)
The timer accumulated value must equal or exceed EPC57 before the module may resume executing the Ejector Pro-
file. The state of this bit has no effect on Ejector Profile execution if EPC57 is zero, or if EPC64 is one.
