Span Your Valves

We recommend that you span your plastication pressure valve for optimum
plastication performance in four parts:
Confirm critical values
Span your plastication pressure valve
Test valve linearity with a plastication backpressure vs. position profile
Set the profile pressure alarm
Important: You may omit the procedure Span your plastication pressure
valve in this section if the recorded valve spanning data from the
manufacturer in pressure control limits PLC41-44 (chapter 7) are adequate
for your application.

(chapter 7) and profile values (chapter 8) are as follows:
