Continuous Stroking
From figure
5.7
Both voting processors allow
continuous stroking regardless of
releasing RUN buttons.
Has an operator pressed a
STOPONTOP button?
Has the PLC transferred a
stopontop command?
Has a barrier guard opened?
Both voting processors trip triac
power to stop the shaft. A trip
condition message is displayed.
WARNING: If the shaft coasts
past its neartop position while
braking, the brake is faulty and
hazardous. Repair it immediately.
NOTE: The press strokes continuously until an operator presses a STOPONTOP button, the
PLC transfers a stopontop command, or barrier guard opens.
