1769 Modular CompactLogix Controllers
In a 1769-L3x controller system, the 1769 I/O modules can be placed to the left and the right of the power supply. As many
as eight modules can be placed on each side of the power supply.
The CompactLogix controller has a power supply distance rating of four modules. The controller must be the leftmost
module in the first bank of the system. The maximum configuration for the first bank of a CompactLogix controller is the
controller and three I/O modules to the left of the power supply and eight I/O modules to the right of the power supply.
