Create a Logix Designer Project Chapter 5
7. If prompted, click Yes to change
the controller mode to Remote
Run.
8. Expand the I/O Configuration
tree.
9. Right-click the controller and
choose Properties.
10. Use the tabs on the Controller
Properties dialog box to configure
the controller.
The IP address is set on the
Internet Protocol tab.

11. Save the project and go offline.
IMPORTANT
Make sure you set the
controller’s IP Address and
Subnet Mask to values that
match the values set in Assign
an IP Address to the Controller
over a USB Connection on
page 50.
