6-8 Additional Redundant Server Procedures
9. If you have redundant LANs, modify the file to include the
following entries for dual data links.
>DEL LNK00<
>ADD LNK00 NETWORK_LINK<
>DEL LNK01<
>ADD LNK01 NETWORK_LINK<
The default file definition is for a single network (LAN) data link
10. Click File ⇒ Save to save your changes to the file.
11. Close Notepad.
12. Close Windows Explorer.
13. Click Start ⇒ Run .
14. Enter >cmd< and click OK to open the DOS window.
15. At DOS prompt, enter >cd \Honeywell\server\user< and press
<Enter>.
16. Enter >hdwbld redun.hdw< and press <Enter>.
The hdwbld utility reads the text file [redun.hdw] and adds the
hardware definitions to the Server database.
If you are using a dual LAN, be certain that you change the
default redun.hdw file as noted in
Step 7 to Step 12.
17. Verify that no hardware build errors are listed. If errors are listed,
be sure the Server state is Database Only and retry.
18. Enter >exit< and press <Enter> to exit DOS.
