Monitoring Your Data File
To verify that the output and input data files for the I/O modules have been
created, you can call up data files for the I/O.
1. Press
[F1]
– EDT_DAT
. The following display appears:
O0:3.0/0 = 0

This is file 0, the output data file. It indicates that slot 3 of the controller has
8 bits assigned (representing outputs

2. Press
[F2]

. The following display appears:

bits assigned (representing inputs

through I:2/7).
3. Now press
[ESC]
, then [ENTER]. The following display appears. You
are now ready for the next section.
