Supplementary Example
(select display in °C or °F)
This example shows how to display the temperature of several
thermocouples at display panel. A selector switch (I:2/0) lets the
operator choose between displaying temperatures in °C or °F. A
second selector switch (I:2/1) lets the operator switch a display
between the ambient temperature near the bath and the temperature
inside the control cabinet containing the SLC controller. Each display
is a four digit, seven segment LED indicator display with the last digit
representing tenths of a degree. The displays have dc-sinking inputs
and use a BCD data format.
