 Select the option “Update IntelliVAC base” whic h w ill pass
control to the IntelliVAC base module, whic h w ill then flash its
bootloader menu to the screen. Refer to the section Flashing

Flashing IntelliVAC Base Module using Bootloader
Code can only be flashed to the IntelliVAC base module using the
RS-485 interface, and hyper terminal with any personal computer
w ith a usable serial port. There are two ways to display the
IntelliVAC base bootloader screen. The first is to select “Update
IntelliVAC base” from the IntelliVAC plus bootloader menu, and the
second is by using an IntelliVAC MC board with application disable
jumper set to program mode. When using an IntelliVAC MC board
to enter the bootloader screen any key on the PC keyboard must be
pressed within the first second after seeing the bootloader menu
appear otherwise the bootloader will perform its usual startup checks
and begin running application code.
