Bulletin 1495 Auxiliary Switches

Catalog Number 1495-N8 (Normally Open Contact)

Catalog Number 1495-N9 (Normally Closed Contact)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -- These auxiliary switches provide

a Safety Guard for “live part” protection (see note). The cover opens

by forcing the sides of the Guard apart, which permits access to the

captive mounting screw. Place in Slot A (see illustration) and tighten

screw. Close cover after wiring. A second switch may be placed in

Slot B.

NOTE: When used on a Series L device or a NEMA Size 0, 1 and 2

Unilock enclosure, the safety guard should be removed and discarded.
