Setting Up the Plotter

To setup the Cat. No. 1492-WPLTKIT plotter:

Note: If your system is already set up and running ABMS (DOS)

software, go to section on Selecting a COM Port.

1. Use the communications cable (provided with Catalog No.

1492-WPLTKIT) to connect the computer RS–232 port to the

serial communication connector on the plotter.

If you are making your own cable, refer to Appendix A. You

may need a 25–to–9 pin converter if your computer has a 9–pin

connector.
