Installation Instructions
Description
The Fuse Kit limits the available current from listed Safety Extra Low Voltage
(SELV) or Protected Extra Low Voltage (PELV) sources. The kit allows use
of SELV or PELV supplies as an alternative to a listed Class 2 power source
for an Allen-Bradley XM
®
Series Machine Condition Monitoring system.
Technical Data
• Use only Bussmann model MDA-5-R fuse
• Use solid/stranded wire 0.2 - 6 mm2 / 30-10 AWG, wire
• Tightening torque 0.5 - 0.6 Nm / 4.5 - 5.3 lb-in
• Stripping length 10 mm / 0.4 in
Installation Procedure
1. Mount the End Plate and Fuse Holder on a DIN rail.
2. Install one Bussmann fuse into the Fuse Holder.
Retain the second fuse as a spare.
3. Wire per Application Technique ICM-AP005A-EN-E.
