3.6.1 In case of a fault
If you think that the LSIG-MM is faulty, is malfunctioning or has generated an unwanted trip, follow the recommendations below
very carefully from the Measurements menu Historicals Trip:
1. MakeanoteofthetypeofprotectionthathastrippedbyaccessingtheLASTTRIPpageifthereisanexternalpowersupply(Vauxorbattery)
orbypressing“iTest”ifinself-poweringmode.
2. Notedowntypeofcircuit-breaker,numberofpoles,anyaccessoriesconnected,In,SerialNumber(seepar.3.3)andSWversion.
3. Prepareabriefdescriptionofopening(whendidittakeplace?,howmanytimes?,wasitalwaysunderthesameconditions?whattypeofload?
whatvoltage?,whatcurrent?istheeventreproducible?)
4. Send/communicateallinformationcollected,togetherwithCBcircuitdiagram,toyournearestABCustomerAssistanceservice.
Deliveringcomprehensive,accurateinformationtoABAssistanceservicewillfacilitatetechnicalanalysisoftheproblemencountered,andallow
ustopromptlycarryoutallactionsusefulfortheuser.

Batterysupplyunitisaseparateunitforpoweringrelay,autotestandtriptest,checkingswithopenCBandinstallationofnewreplacementunits.
