Where This Option Is

Used

The 460-to-230V Conversion Kit provides (2) replacement fuses that

are used to convert a 460VAC input drive to a 230VAC input drive at

half the horsepower rating of the 460V drive. When converted to a

230VAC input drive, the following drive rating reductions will apply.

1397 460-to-230V Conversion Kit Installation ! ATTENTION: Electric Shock can cause injury or death. Remove all power before working on this product. The drive is at line voltage when connected to incoming AC power. Before proceeding with any installation or troubleshooting activity, disconnect, lock out, and tag all incoming power to the drive. Verify with a voltmeter that no voltage exists at terminals L1, L2 and L3 on the drive input power terminal block.

1397 460-to-230V Conversion Kit Setup 5 To reconfigure a drive for 230V AC operation, the following parameters must be reset. Important: Depending upon the application, additional parameter adjustments may be required. If additional options are installed, different parameter settings may be required. Perform the Start-Up and Adjustment procedure in the 1397 User Manual to verify all parameter settings. Motor Armature Amps P.045 [Motor Arm Amps] Reset to match the motor’s nameplate armature Amps.
