Installing the DeviceNet Option
This chapter provides instructions for installing and wiring the DeviceNet
option on the 1329I Integrated Drive/Motor.
Read this chapter and referenced information completely before you
attempt to install or configure the DeviceNet option. Before you apply
power, review the attention statements in Chapter 1
.
Preparing for the Installation
Before installing the drive, do the following:
• Read and understand the DeviceNet Cable System Planning and
Installation Manual.
• Read and understand the 1329I Integrated Drive/Motor User Manual.
• Verify that you have the required equipment. Refer to Chapter 1
.
Complying with EMC
Directive 89/336/EEC
This product complies with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Directive 89/336/EEC when conforming with the following installation
requirements:
• The essential requirements for a conforming installation for the Bulletin
1329I Integrated Drive/Motor are employed as specified in the Bulletin
1329I Integrated Drive/Motor User Manual.
Complying with Low Voltage
Directive 73/23/EEC
This product complies with Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC when
conforming with the following installation requirements:
• The essential requirements for a conforming installation for the Bulletin
1329I Integrated Drive/Motor are employed as specified in the Bulletin
1329I Integrated Drive/Motor User Manual.
• Review the Safety Precautions
in Chapter 1 and the Attention statements
throughout this manual prior to installation of the option.
