Installation Considerations
This section focuses on some considerations for installing your Harle y-
Davidson® saddlebag lid speaker kit.
If y
ou feel unsure about installing this system yo urself, have it installed
by a qualified technician.
Wh en drilling hol es, make sure wh at is on the other s id e. Be sure that
any ele ctri ca l, fuel lines or any other importa nt compo nen ts ar e fre e
and cl e arf rom the area.

Installation
Applicable Models:
2014+ Harley-Davidson~~> Motorcycles with Factory Saddlebags
This saddlebag lid speaker kit is d es i gned to work with Rockford
Fosgate's co mpact chassis Pun ch® and Power series amplifiers.
Step 1. Rem ove the saddlebag lids, seat, gas tank and fairing cover
from the motorcycle.
Step 2. Us ing masking tape, tape over the painted porti on of your
saddlebag lids.
NOTE: This will prevent any scr at ch ing of the factory paint during the
installation
pro cess.
N OTE : Be sure the template sits snug on all sid es and corn ers of the
saddlebag lid before securing.

Step 3. Ap p ly the templa te to the saddleb ag lid an d secu re using (2)
sc rews that ca me wi th the kit.
NO
TE: Th ere is a brake and clut ch s id e s pe cific template for each lid. Yo u
can use
an 1/8" drill bit to predrill ho les before screwing the template to
the lid.
Be sure the template is secur ed and wont move.
Step 4. Once the template is sec ur ed, u se a 5/16" drill bit a nd drill
holes
in the templa te .

NOTE: DO NO T cut the segments of the templa te until all of the slots
have b
ee n cu t. Thi s will help ma in tain acc ura cy and fitment for th e
grilles.

edges of the te mplate. Cutting in to t he template will l ead to fitment
