Installation
Now install the center pocket brace back into the vehicle in
between the amplifier bracket and the fire wall support bar. Use the
existing factory hardware.
Tighten the two nuts on the steering column bracket.
Step 8 - Route Front Speaker Wire Harness
Take the left front speaker harness and route it along the driver’s
side down tube. Next run the right front speaker harness down the
passenger down tube behind the dash.
NOTE: It is recommended to run both front speaker harnesses
through the down tubes when installing Rockford Fosgate’s RFRZ-
FSE front speaker pods.
Step 9 - Route Source Unit Power Harness
Next you will need to route the source unit power harness through the
fire wall. Starting on the inside of the vehicle, take the end with the ring
terminals and push them through the grommet where the main harness
was just run.
NOTE: This harness is designed to work with Rockford Fosgate’s PMX-2
Source Unit.
Connect the ring terminals to the factory accessory power distribution
block. The power ring terminal gets connected to the ACC and the ground
ring terminal gets mounted to the screw to the left.
NOTE: Some vehicle grounds are not connected at the distribution block
from the factory. It is recommended connecting the ground to the screw
like the picture above.
