Installation Considerations
This section focuses on some considerations for installing your Polaris
RANGER
amplifier installation kit. This kit is desigend
to
work
in
conjuction with Rockford's other
RANGER
specific audio kits and part
s.
If you feel unsure
about
installing this system yourself, have
it
installed
by a qualifi
ed
technician.
When drilling holes, make sure
what
is
on
the
other
side.
Be
sure
that
any electrical, fuel lines or any other
important
components are free
and clear from
the
area.

installed in both Crew and non-crew
mode

under
the dash above the
steering colum
n.
Step
1.
Remove the top dash pane
l.
Step
2.
Lo
osen
th
e (2)
nut
s on the steering column support using a 15
mm wrench and socket.
N
OTE
:
Yo
u
do
not
need
to
completely remove
the
nuts.
Step
3.
To mou
nt
the bracket, line up the
(2)
notch
es
on the bracket
and slide them over the
bo
lts
that
we
re
ju
st
loosened. The tab
f
aces
towa
rd
outside
of
the vehicle.
Step
4.
Plug the input, ou
tput
and
pow
er/ground harnesses
int
o
th
e
amplifier before attaching to
th
e
br
ac
ket.
Step 5.
Mo
u
nt
the
amp
lifier to the bracket using the
(2)
su
pplied
screws.
Step 6.
Co
nnect the
pow
er and ground
to
the
battery terminals.
Step 7. Conne
ct
input
connector
(s
) from the radio.
