This will let you determine the correct tip number for your netbook. CAUTION: The use of an incorrect tip may damage your netbook.

The ridge on the inside of the tip should align with the groove in the output cable connector. Also make sure that the tip is pushed all the way into the output cable's connector. 4 Connect the AC cord to the socket on the AC adapter. 5 Plug the AC cord into an AC power outlet.

How do I connect the tip to the adapter cable? Once you have selected the correct tip for your netbook, connect the tip to the output cable, making sure that the ridge on the inside of the tip aligns properly with the groove in the output cable connector.
