Audio Questions
Why do I have low or no sound coming from my
headsets?
•Press the PWR button on the wireless receiver to turn the
receiver on. The headset has a sleep/standby mode feature
to preserve battery life. The unit goes into sleep mode if
there's no input for 3 minutes.
• Make sure that the volume on the wireless receiver is not
turned down or muted. The LED on the wireless receiver will
light orange when mute is activated.
• Press the all mute button (the Rocketfish logo) on the left
side of the headset once to make sure that the all mute
function is not activated. The LED on the wireless receiver
will light red when all mute is activated.
• Make sure that the sound on the connected device (such as
a gaming console, computer, or audio device) is not muted
or turned down too low.
•Press the Chat Volume dial on the wireless receiver to
control the chat volume.
• Check the game's audio settings.
• Make sure that all connections are correct and secure.
Sometimes a cable may appear to be connected but it may
not be pressed in all the way.
• Make sure that the wireless receiver batteries are installed
correctly. See “Installing the wireless receiver batteries” on
page 11.
• Make sure that the wireless receiver batteries do not need
replacing.
