Configuration
You configure the Data management system IP
address / host name configuration item using the
following:
• Data management system (e.g., cobas
®
infinity POC)
• Barcode (generated via cobas
®
infinity edge)
Data management system port number
This configuration item specifies the DMS port number.

If the instrument will only be connected to

infinity edge, the cobas infinity edge IP
address / host name and cobas infinity edge port
number configuration items must be set.

must be set.

You configure the Data management system port
number configuration item using the following:
• Data management system (e.g., cobas

infinity POC)
• Barcode (generated via cobas

infinity edge)
cobas infinity edge IP address / host name
This configuration item specifies the
cobas
®
infinity edge IP address / host name.
It can either be a machine name, such as
"rsg.hospital.com", or a textual representation of its IP
address. If a literal IP address is supplied, only the validity
of the address format is checked.
