Result deletion algorithm
This configuration item specifies how test results are
deleted from the instrument.
Item ID
RESULT_DELETION_ALGO
Available values/format
• First-in first-out (default)
[FIFO]
Deletion is based on the FIFO (first in, first out)
algorithm.
• Based on configured result retention period
[AUTOMATIC]
Deletion is based on retention time and successful
transmission to the DMS (see the Result upload
required before result deletion configuration item).
Dependencies
• Result retention period (in days) if value is based
on configured result retention period
• Result upload required before result deletion
Configuration
You configure the Result deletion algorithm
configuration item using the following:
• Data management system (e.g., cobas
®
infinity POC)
• Barcode (generated via cobas
®
infinity edge)
