This configuration item specifies if a new test strip lot
can be used directly for patient testing, or whether a new
test strip lot must first pass QC tests successfully.
QC tests required for new test strip lots works in
conjunction with the QC algorithm configuration item.

Available values/format
• Disabled (default)
[false]
A test strip lot can be used without passing a QC test.
• Enabled
[true]
A test strip lot cannot be used without passing a QC
test.
