Test strip count
This configuration item specifies the number of
successful tests that are performed after which a QC
lockout is enabled. QC tests and unsuccessful tests are
not included in the calculation.
Test strip count works in conjunction with the QC
algorithm configuration item.

QC_STRIP_COUNT
Available values/format
1 - 999 (default: 50)
Values must be integers.
Dependencies
Configuring Test strip count is only relevant when the
QC algorithm configuration item value is Test strip
count or Test strip count (alternating QC level).
Configuration
You configure the Test strip count configuration item
using the following:
• Data management system (e.g., cobas
®
infinity POC)
• Barcode (generated via cobas
®
infinity edge)

Time of day
This configuration item determines the times of day at
which QC lockouts are activated.
A maximum of 6 lockouts can be scheduled. The
lockouts occur each day.
Time of day works in conjunction with the QC
algorithm configuration item.

QC_TIME_OF_DAY
Available values/format
A time must be entered as "HH:MM" and separated by
commas. The times must be inside quotation marks (" ")
Examples:
• "00:00"
