OVERVIEW
Servo Controls
The Servo Controls are an array of sliders and push buttons that give you control over each individual
servo. Each servo control has a slider for setting the position. You can hold CTRL and click to reset the
slider to the centre position or you can click the Center button.
Finer Control
Fine adjustments to the position of the servo can be made using the push buttons.
If you click and hold these buttons they will auto repeat, that is to say that they will continually nudge
the servo in the applicable direction until the mouse button is released.
The numerical displays show the absolute position of the servo. For high precision control you can
click on these and change them.
Restricting Range
You can restrict the range of the slider so that it moves between a narrower set of limits. To do this
move the slider to one extreme and click the Min or Max button. The slider will no longer be moveable
past this limit point.
To remove a range restriction simply click the Min or Max button a second time.
Disabling a Servo
You can switch a servo off by clearing the check box. The servo data will no longer be sent to the
board allowing communications to be more streamlined.
Renaming a Servo
You can change the name of a servo to something more appropriate to your application. For example,
for a robot arm you might want to name servos as 'base', 'shoulder', 'hand' etc. Just click on the name
and you can type in a new one.
