Safety Warnings & Precautions
Use
Read this1. Operating and Safety Manual carefully and be familiar with the controls and the proper use of Robomow
before operating Robomow
.
Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions2. to use Robomow.
Never mow while people, especially children, 3. or pets are nearby.
It is strongly recommended to use 4. the CHILD GUARD or ANTI THEFT (4 PIN code) option in order to prevent operation
by children or others who are not familiar with Robomow
operation.
Never let Robomow5.
operate without supervision.
The operator or user is responsible for 6. accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
Wear eyes protection and use gloves when installing the perimeter 7. wire and driving the wire stakes/pegs. Firmly drive all
pegs in order to keep the wire from becoming a tripping hazard.
Make sure to layout and install the perimeter 8. wire according to the instructions.
Periodically inspect the area mowed 9. by Robomow, and remove stones, sticks, wires, bones and other objects. Objects
struck by the blades may be thrown and cause severe injuries to people.
In case of abnormal vibrations10. , stop the mower, remove the power pack and visually check for any damage of the blade or
mowing deck. Replace worn or damaged blades to preserve balance. If vibration continues, call for service.
Keep hands and feet away from the11. cutting blades and other moving parts.
Always remove the Power12. Pack before lifting the mower or attempting any adjustments. Do not to touch the blades
before the blades have come to a complete stop.
Never attempt to service or adjust13. the mower while it is in operation.
When programming the14. automatic departure times and days, do not leave the machine to operate unattended if you know
that there are pets, children or people in the vicinity.
Do not use Robomow15.
for any purpose other than for which it is intended.
Do not operate Robomow16.
if any safety feature or device is damaged or inoperable.
Never allow anyone to ride17. or sit on mower.
Warning! When there is a risk18. of a lightning storm, disconnect the perimeter wire from the Base Station/ Perimeter
Switch and the Power Supply 230V/120V plug from the mains socket.
Keep all guards, shields, safety19. devices, and sensors in place. Repair or replace damaged parts, including decals. Do not
operate Robomow
if any parts are damaged or worn.
Never pick up or carry this 20. appliance while the motors are running.
Transport21. - to safely move from or within the working area:
Use caution when lifting 1. Robomow, it is heavy! Before lifting it, always take out the battery.
Use the Manual Controller to drive it from 2. place to place.
In case of different height level or 3. stairs, remove the Power Pack from the mower and carry the mower by the
carrying handle (See Introduction - 8).
Using Manual Controller
Mow only in daylight or in a 22. good artificial light and avoid operating in wet grass;
Do 23. not operate Robomow
when barefoot or wearing open sandals. Always wear substantial footwear and long trousers;
Always be sure of24. your footing on slopes;
Use extreme caution when reversing the25. appliance towards you;
Always switch on the motor according to26. instructions with feet well away from the blades;
Do not27. mow manually in slope greater than 15 degrees or where a firm footing is not possible;
Maintenance
Always remove 28. the Power Pack from the Robomow
in the following cases: before clearing blockage/ checking/ cleaning/
working on Robomow
or replacing the blades.
Always remove the Power Pack 29. from the Robomow
after striking a foreign object or whenever Robomow starts vibrat-
ing abnormally.
Use heavy gloves when inspecting or servicing 30. the blades.
Do not open or mutilate the power pack. 31. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may damage the eyes or skin.
