Recharge the A/C System

residualPAGoil.CAUTION: Failure to perform
this procedure will cause contamination of
the hybrid system as well as failure of the
compressor.

Connectservicecouplerstothestorageport

Whenhoseushingiscomplete,connectthe
servicehosestothevehicleserviceports,and
pressSTART / YEStocontinue.
2.PressCHARGEagaintotogglebetweenahigh-
sidecharge,alow-sidecharge,orboth.Note: The
blue light on the control panel indicates a low-side
charge; the red light indicates a high-side charge.

YES,ortypeinaweightusingthenumberkeys,

resultinanincorrectreading.
Note:
• During a charge cycle, if the unit fails to transfer
refrigerant due to low tank pressure, the charge
process is automatically interrupted and the unit
operates in a mode to build tank pressure. Once
tank pressure is sufcient, the unit automatically
completes the charge.

Operating Tips
After selecting the CHARGE function and
entering a desired weight, if the weight
entered will leave less than 2 lbs. (.91
kg) of refrigerant in the internal tank after
charge, the charge function will not start.
The display reads
INSUFFICIENTREFRIG.

the Internal Storage Vessel (ISV).
