When setting

up for new

types of

refrigerant,

a clearing

process must

be performed.

ADDING REFRIGERANT TO THE TANK

CAUTION: R-134a systems have special ttings (per SAE

specications) to avoid cross-contamination with other refrigerant

systems. Read and follow all warnings given at the beginning of this

manual.

NOTE: Purchase only tanks of R-134a refrigerant that have 1/2 inch (1.2cm)

Acme threads. This is necessary to match the hose adapter.



NOTE:Disposable tanks have only one valve and most must be turned upside

down to transfer liquid. If you are using a disposable tank, follow the instructions

on the side of the tank to obtain a liquid supply.
