Using the Control Panel
This section explains the functions of various components on the
unit’s control panel.
MAIN POWER Switch — Supplies electrical power to the control
panel.
Beeper — Emits an audible tone to alert you to unit operating
functions.
Digital Display — Shows the time programmed for vacuum and
the weight of refrigerant programmed for recharging. Detailed
instructions for programming this display immediately follow this
section.
LOW Side Manifold Gauge — When connected to an A/C system,
shows the system’s low side pressure.
HIGH Side Manifold Gauge — When connected to an A/C
system, shows the system’s high side pressure.
Moisture Indicator — Shows if the refrigerant is wet or dry.
LOW Side Valve — Connects the low side of the A/C system to
the unit.
HIGH Side Valve — Connects the high side of the A/C system to
the unit.
In addition to the number keys, the keypad contains special keys
that accomplish specific operating functions.
•RECYCLE — Activates the recycling sequence.
• RECOVER — Activates the recovery sequence.
• SHIFT/RESET — Activates “shifted” positions of keys on the
keypad and resets the program mode.
• FILTER — Automatically recovers and evacuates to 17 in. Hg
from the filter and low side of the unit.
• CHG — Automatically charges the A/C system with the
programmed amount of refrigerant.
• HOLD/CONT — Interrupts the automatic cycle in the HOLD
position, and then resumes functions in the CONT position.
Press this button once for HOLD, and again for CONT.
• VACUUM — Activates the vacuum and automatic recycling
sequence.
• ENTER — Enters programmed data into the unit’s control
memory.

MAIN POWER Switch (HAUPTSTROMSCHALTER) - Führt dem
Schaltpult Strom zu.
Pieper - Sendet einen höhrbaren Ton, um Sie auf die
Betriebsfunktionen des Geräts aufmerksam zu machen.
Digitalanzeige - Zeigt die für das Vakuum programmierte Zeit an
und das programmierte Gewicht des Kältemittels für Befüllung.
Genauere Anweisungen für das Programmieren dieser Anzeige
folgen diesem Abschnitt sofort.
LOW Side Manifold Gauge (Ventilbatterieeinheit für
NIEDERDRUCK) - Wenn an das Klimaanlagensystem
angeschlossen, zeigt sie den Niederdruck des Systems an.
HIGH Side Manifold Gauge (Ventilbatterieeinheit für
HOCHDRUCK) - Wenn an das Klimaanlagensystem
angeschlossen, zeigt sie den Hochdruck des Systems an.
Feuchtigkeitsanzeiger - Zeigt an ob das Kältemittel naß oder
trocken ist.
LOW Side Valve (Niederdruckseitenventil)- Verbindet die
Niederdruckseite des Klimaanlagensystems mit dem Gerät.
HIGH Side Valve (Hochdruckseitenventil) - Verbindet die
Hochdruckseite des Klimaanlagensystems mit dem Gerät.
Zusätzlich zu den numerischen Tasten enthält die Tastatur
spezielle Tasten die spezifische Betriebsvorgänge bewältigen.
• RECYCLE (WIEDERAUFBEREITUNG)) - Aktiviert die
Wiederaufbereitungsreihenfolge
• RECOVER (RÜCKGEWINNUNG) - Aktiviert die
Rückgewinnungsreihenfolge
• SHIFT/RESET (SCHIEBEN/RÜCKSETZUNG) - Aktiviert die
“verschobenen” Positionen der Tasten an der Tastatur und
setzt den Programmmodus zurück.
• FILTER - Rückgewinnt und evakuiert automatisch auf 17 in. Hg
vom Filter und der Niederdruckseite des Geräts.
• CHG (BEFÜLLUNG) - Befüllt das Klimaanlagensystem
automatisch mit dem programmierten Anteil von Kältemittel.
• HOLD/CONT (STOP/WEITER) - Unterbricht den automatischen
Vorgang in der HOLD Position und dann fährt mit der Funktion
in der CONT Position fort. Drücken Sie diese Taste einmal für
HOLD und nochmals für CONT.
• VACUUM (VAKUUM) - Aktiviert die Vakuum- und automatische
Wiederaufbereitungsreihenfolge.
• ENTER (EINGABE) - Gibt programmierte Daten in den
Mikroprogrammspeicher des Gerätsein.
