Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
Environmental Precautions - Place dikes around affected areas to block any run off that
could go into storm drains, sewer systems, streams or rivers.
Clean Up - Spills should be contained, solidified, and placed in suitable containers for
disposal. Flush area with plenty of water. Wash contaminated property. Dispose of waste
in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Small Spill: Dilute with water or mop up, or absorb with an inert dry material and place in
appropriate waste disposal container. Wash area with soap and water. Consult local
authorities for disposal information.
Section 7: Handling and Storage
Precautions: READ MSDS SHEET FIRST. Keep away from excessive heat. Do not ingest.
Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapors/spray. Wear suitable protective clothing. In case of poor
ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment. Avoid skin and eye contact.
Storage: Keep container in a cool well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed and
sealed until ready to use.
