3. DESCRIPTION
ROBERTS 7500 Vinyl Seam Sealer is a strong and durable adhesive
designed to seal seams in both residential and commercial vinyl sheet
flooring projects. It is a non-ammable, solvent-free vinyl seam sealer that
saves time and costs, compared to the traditional heat welding method for
commercial vinyl applications.

Uses
For the interior use only. Used to seal seams for linoleum, vinyl-backed,
felt-backed, heterogeneous and inlaid, light commercial glass-backed and
residential felt-backed sheet goods.
Coverage
1/8" bead, approximately 144 lineal feet per 8 oz bottle.
Limitations
For interior installations only.
Not recommended for health care installations where an aseptic
environment is necessary. Heat-welded seams are recommended for those
types of applications.
Materials and area temperature must be between 18-35°C/65-95°F with a
maximum RH of 65% for 48 hours before and during installation as well as
for 72 hours afterward.
Ensure adequate ventilation during flooring installation.

5. INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
Prepare flooring according to manufacturer’s instructions. Apply a bead
approximately 1/8” along the entire edge of the sheet vinyl. Apply only to one
side at a time to be seamed. Push in the edges of the sheet vinyl together while
the adhesive still has tack. Wipe any excess product with a warm wet cloth.
Roll the seam with a hand roller. Any dried sealer may be removed with mineral
spirits. Can be walked on in 2 hours, for best results protect the work area for 6
hours, to allow the seam to fully cure.
Curing
Up to 6 hours. High temperature and low humidity will cause the adhesive to
cure faster.
Clean-up
Fresh adhesive – Use warm soapy water while wet.
Dried adhesive – use mineral spirits sparingly with a clean, white cotton cloth.
DO NOT POUR DIRECTLY ONTO FLOORING.
