5. INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
30 oz. Cartridge – Unscrew cap, cut top seal and replace ROBERTS
®
10-981-25 SNOZZLE.
11 oz. Cartridge – Cut tip, load ROBERTS SNOZZLE and place into 11 oz.
cartridge gun. Squeeze gun gently, with even pressure, to apply.
Surface must be clean, dry and free of contaminants including paint. A bond
test should be performed (at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled installation)
to ensure the surface is suitable. There should be some difculty in removing
the wall base from the surface, but not all situations will result in destruction
of surfaces. If the back of the wall base is soiled prior to installation, clean
with a cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution, rinse and dry.
Installation
Maintain a consistent and relative ambient humidity before, during and after
installation (between 65-85° F with a maximum RH od 65%). Apply adhesive to
the back of the wall base with either a 1/8” saw-tooth trowel or the cartridge
nozzle to ensure 90% coverage of adhesive while not spreading within ¼”
from the top if the wall base. Observe the appropriate open time. While the
adhesive is still fresh, press the wall base rmly in place. Be careful not to
stretch the wall base during the application process. Use hand roller to ensure
a secure and void-free bond between the wall base and the substrate. Roll the
wall base in the direction of the last piece installed. This will secure a tight t
at the seams. Observe 24-48 hours after installation to allow the adhesive to
properly cure. Open Time: Up to 10 minutes. Working Time: Up to 30 minutes.
Curing
Up to 24-48 hours. High temperature and low humidity will cause the adhesive
to cure faster.
Clean-up
Fresh adhesive – warm, soapy water.
Dried adhesive – mineral spirits (sparingly) on a clean, cotton cloth.
Do Not pour cleaning agent directly onto wall base.

warrants that this product will be free from manufacturing defects
for 12 months from the date of manufacture, when applied in accordance with
ROBERTS’ instructions and industry standards. ROBERTS’ sole liability is to
either supply new product or refund the original purchase price. This limited
warranty excludes all other express warranties including the warranties
of merchantability for a particular use or purpose. Any implied warranties
arising by operation of law are limited to one year. ROBERTS will not be liable
for any incidental or consequential damages.
