Protection of Firefighters
No special procedures required. Firefighters should wear full protective gear.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal Precautions - Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Environmental Precautions - Place dikes around affected areas to block any run off that could go into storm drains, sewer
systems, streams or rivers.
This product is not regulated by RCRA. This product is not regulated by CERCLA (‘Superfund’).
Clean Up - Spills should be contained, solidified, and placed in suitable containers for disposal. Flush area with plenty of
water. Wash contaminated property quickly before the material dries. Dispose of waste in accordance with federal, state
and local regulations.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapors.
When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Protection against fire and explosion: No explosion proofing necessary
Storage:
Keep from freezing. Store in a cool, dry location (50º to 90ºF) and prevent inoculation with microorganisms. Minimize
exposure to air.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering Controls - Local exhaust should be used to maintain good air circulation.

Not required under normal use.

Rubber or Chemical resistant protective gloves (butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, pvc or polyvinyl alcohol).
- Eye/Face Protection
Safety goggles (chemical goggles).
- General Safety and hygiene measures:
Wear protective clothing as necessary to prevent contact. Avoid inhalation of vapors/mists. Wash soiled
clothing immediately.
