11.4 Lighting Instructions
For types CTU
11.4.1 To Turn On Heater
1. Ensure that the electrical and gas supplies to
the heater are on. Check that the on site con-
trols are “ON”.
NOTE: The thermostat setting must be above the
ambient temperature for the heater to operate.
2. The green light will be on and the automatic fir-
ing sequence will begin as described on Page
16, Figure 8. The heater will now operate auto-
matically under the control of the on site con-
trols. Following long shut down periods, the
control may go to lockout. See Page 18, Sec-
tion 11.3.3.
11.4.2 To Turn the Heater Off
Set the installed remote controls to the “OFF”
position.
The burner will turn off immediately.
The fan will continue to run for a few minutes.
To restart turn the control used above to “ON”.
11.5 Simple Fault Finding (all models)
Some possible reasons for the heater not operating
are:
1. Gas supply not turned ON.
2. Electricity supply not turned ON.
3. The time and/or temperature controls are not
“ON”.
4. One or both of the Limit Thermostats may have
operated. This may be caused by an interrup-
tion of the electrical supply or failure of the
distribution fan.
If the Limit Thermostats persistently operate, there
is a fault which must be investigated by a contractor
qualified in the installation and service of gas-fired
heating equipment.
11.5.1 Simple Fault Finding (burner faults)
If the burner fails to ignite for any reason, it will go to
lockout. This will be indicated by the red light on the
heater or at the remote indicator (if fitted).
1. Press in and release the lockout reset button. If
a remote reset is not fitted, a reset button is on
the rear panel of the heater.
See Page 5, Section 4.1.
Lockout should not occur during normal operation of
the heater and indicates there is a fault condition
which must be corrected.

FOR YOUR SAFETY
If you smell gas:
1. Open windows.
2. DO NOT try to light any appliance.
3. DO NOT use electrical switches.
4. DO NOT use any telephone in
your building.
5. Leave the building.
6. Immediately call your local gas
supplier after leaving the building.
Follow the gas suppliers
instructions.
7. If you cannot reach your gas
supplier, call the Fire Department.
Fire Hazard
Do not store or use petrol or other
flammable vapours and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance
.
Some objects will catch fire or explode
when placed close to heater.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death,
injury or property
damage.
11.4 Uputstva vezana za svetlosnu signalizaciju
11.4.1 Za uključivanje grejnog tela
1. Proverite da li su dovodi gasa i struje do grejnog
tela na ON poziciji. Proverite da su kontrole sa strane
na ON poziciji.
Napomena: Termostat mora biti podešen na
temperaturi višoj od temperature ambijenta kako bi
zagrejač funkcionisao.
2.Otpočeće automatski redosled paljenja kako je
opisano na strani 16, dijagram 9. Zagrejač će sada
funkcionisati automatski pod kontrolom sa strane
upravljača/kontrola. Ukoliko duže vreme nisu u
funkciji, upravljači bi mogli biti blokirani. Videti stranu
18, odeljak 11.3.3
11.4.2 Za isključivanje grejnog tela
Instalirane daljinske upravljače postaviti na OFF
poziciju.
Gorionik će automatski biti isključen.
Ventilator će nastaviti da radi narednih nekoliko
minuta.
Da biste opet uključili grejno telo gore pomenuti
upravljač postavite na ON poziciju.
11.5 Uočavanje jednostavnijih nepravilnosti
Neki od mogiućih razloga zbog kojih zagrejač ne
funkcioniše su:
1. Dovod gasa nije na poziciji ON
2. Dovod struje nije na poziciji ON
3. Vremenski i temperaturni upravljači nisu na poziciji
ON
4. Jedan ili oba limit termostata su možda bili u
funkciji. Ovo može biti prouzrokovano prekidima u
napajanju strujom ili otkazivanjem rada distributivnog
ventilatora.
Ukoliko limit termostat radi neprestano, postoji greška
koju mora da istraži kvalifikovano lice.
11.5.1 Uočavanje jednostavnijih nepravilnosti
(greške u gorioniku)
Ukoliko iz bilo kog razloga gorionik neće da se upali,
on biva blokiran/zatvara se. Ovo će pokazati crveno
svetlo na zagrejaču ili na daljinskom indikatoru
(ukoliko je podešen).
1. Pritisnite i oslobodite dugme za resetovanje
Ukoliko daljinski reset nije podešeno, dugme za
resetovanje se nalazi na stražnjoj tabli grejnog tela.
Videti stranu 5, odeljak 4.1.
Blokade neće biti tokom normalnog funkcionisanja
zagrejača i pokazuje da je reč o pogrešnom stanju
koje mora biti korigovano.

Radi Vaše bezbednosti
Ukoliko osetite gas:
1. Otvorite prozore
2. Ne pokušavajte da palite bilo koji uređaj.
3. Ne koristite električne prekidače.
4. Nemojte da koristite nikakav telefonski
aparat u kući
5. Napustite kuću
6. Čim napustite kuću pozovite Vašeg
lokalnog snabdevača gasom i sledite
njegova uputstva
7. Ukoliko ne možete da stupite u kontakt sa
snabdevačom gasom, pozovite vatrogasnu
službu
Opasnost od požara
Ne skladištite i ne koristite benzin ili
bilo kakvu isparavajuću materiju u
blizini ovog ili drugih uređaja.
Ukoliko se nalaze pored zagrejača, neki
predmeti bi mogli da se zapale ili
ekslodiraju.
Nepridržavanje ovih uputstava može da
prouzrokuje smrt, povredu ili nanese
imovinsku štetu.
