CORD COVER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove mounting plate (E) from back plate (C) by removing screws (D).
2. Determine desired location for light xture on wall. Place mounting plate (E)
in a level position at desired wall location. Using a pencil, mark the desired
position for backplate (E) onto the wall.
3. Drill small holes at marked locations on the wall. Holes should be sized so they
accommodate anchors (G). Push anchors (G) into holes.
4. Afx mounting plate (E) to the wall by threading mounting plate screws (F)
through holes in mounting plate (E) and into anchors (G).
5. Slide back plate (C) over mounting plate (E). Thread screws (D) into vacant
holes at the top and bottom of back plate (C) to secure xture to mounting
plate (E)
6. Thread cord cover (I) into nipple (H) at the bottom of backplate (C). Thread
cord cover (J) on to cord cover (I).
7. Remove ange (M) from threaded socket (N).
8. Slide center ring of shade spider, located inside shade (A), over threaded socket
(N). Shade ring will rest on socket housing (B).
9. Thread ange (M) onto socket (N) to secure the shade (A) to xture.
10. Insert one (1) 60W MAX. Type B, candelabra base bulb into socket (N).
11. Insert three prong plug (L) into wall outlet.
12. Control power to the lamp using switch (O).
5. Cut the cord to the desired length for making electrical connection. At least six inches of wire will be needed to make proper electrical connection.
6. Carefully unscrew nipple (H) from backplate (C). Thread plug (K) into hole vacated by electrical cord and nipple (H).
7. Gently pull the wiring from wall outlet box. Thread the wires from the wall outlet box through the center hole in mounting plate (E).
8. Afx mounting plate (E) to wall outlet box with mounting screws (F), provided.
9. Make proper electrical connections described in steps 10 - 12. A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS RECOMMENDED.
10. Connect the ground wire from xture (green or copper in color) to ground wire in outlet box. It is imperative that the outlet box in your home be
properly grounded.
11. Connect the hot wire from xture (BLACK in color, or SMOOTH side of wire) to the hot wire in the outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire
nut (P) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
12. Connect the neutral wire from xture (WHITE in color, or RIBBED side of wire) to the neutral wire in the outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (P) and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.
13. Slide back plate (C) over mounting plate (E). Thread screws (D) into vacant holes at the top and bottom of back plate (C) to secure xture to
mounting plate (E).
14. Remove ange (M) from threaded socket (N).
15. Slide center ring of shade spider, located inside shade (A), over threaded socket (N). Shade ring will rest on socket housing (B).
16. Thread ange (M) onto socket (N) to secure the shade (A) to xture.
17. Insert one (1) 60W MAX. Type B, candelabra base bulb into socket (N).
18. Reconnect main electrical supply from the fuse box/ circuit breaker and test xture.
** To clean, use soft dry cloth only. DO NOT use any chemical or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the nish. **
DIRECT WIRE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. SHUT OFF MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE
BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN INSTALL THIS FIXTURE.
2. Remove mounting plate (E) from backplate (C) by removing screws (D).
3. Cut three prong plug (L) from the end of electrical cord.
4. From the back side of back plate (C), pull the electrical cord up through the nipple (H), located at the bottom side of back plate (C).

*Turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs, making sure xture
