SHUT OFF MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE
BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER.
Caution: To clean, use a soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abra-
sive cleaners.
1. Remove mounting plate (A) from the backplate (O) by removing backplate
screws (D).
2. Affix mounting plate (A) to the wall with the mounting plate screws (B)
provided.
3. Lift fixture to mounting plate (A). Align holes in backplate (O) with holes in
mounting plate (A). Slide backplate (O) over mounting plate (A). Thread
backplate screws (D) into backplate (O) and mounting plate (A) to secure fixture
to mounting plate (A).
4. Thread cord cover (G) into the threaded opening of nipple (E). Thread cord
cover (H) into threaded opening of cord cover (G ).
5. Insert harp (L) into saddle (J) by gently squeezing harp (L) inward and placing in
saddle (J).
6. Lower center ring of shade spider (located inside shade (M)) over threaded nipple
of harp (L).
7. Thread finial (N) on to threaded nipple of harp (L) to secure shade (M) to fixture.
8. Install one (1) 60 W MAX. G16.5 bulb in to socket (K).
9. Insert three prong plug (I) into wall outlet.

LICENSED ELECTRICIAN INSTALL THIS FIXTURE**
3. Affix mounting plate (A) to the wall using mounting plate screws (B) provided.
4. Disconnect wiring from socket (K) and cord with three prong plug (I) by unscrewing wire nuts (C). Pull wiring from
three prong plug (I) away from backplate (O) exiting through nipple (E). Carefully unscrew nipple (E) from backplate (O).
5. Thread plug (F) into hole of backplate (O) vacated by electrical cord (I) and nipple (E).
6. Lift fixture to mounting plate (A) and make proper electrical connection.
7. Connect the copper wire from fixture to ground (green) wire. Connect white or rough side of wire from fixture to white wire from
outlet box using wire nuts (C). Connect black or smooth side of wire from fixture to black wire from outlet box using wire nuts (C).
8. Align holes in backplate (O) with holes in mounting plate (A). Slide backplate (O) over mounting plate (A). Thread backplate
screws (D) into backplate (O) and mounting plate (A) to secure fixture to mounting plate (A).
9. Follow steps 5 - 8 in cord cover assembly instructions above for completion of assembly.
DIRECT WIRE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
CORD COVER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/ CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2. Remove mounting plate (A) from backplate (O) by removing backplate
screws (D). Guide wiring from outlet box through center hole in mounting
plate (A).
