SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

*These instructions are provided for your safety. It is important that they are read

completely before beginning installation.

*WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED

ELECTRICIAN.

*Always turn off power at switch before replacing bulbs.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. SHUT OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AT THE FUSE BOX/

CIRCUIT BREAKER.

2. Remove all parts carefully from the carton. Do not throw away any parts.

3. Measure desired drop for ﬁ xture to hang and remove/ reconﬁ gure extension

tubes (F) as needed.

**TO ADD/REMOVE EXTENSIONS: (Un)Thread the threaded nipple of one

extension into/ out of the threaded opening of the next extension. Make sure

electrical cord is pulled tight when threading extensions together to prevent

damage to the wiring.**

4. Pull cord taught from above and thread bottom extension tube (F) onto the

nipple exiting housing (I). Make sure hang straight (E) is threaded onto top

extension (F).

5. Lower collar (H) and canopy (G) down over extensions (F) and let them rest on

housing (I).

6. Attach cross bar (B) to the ﬁ xture by threading nipple (C) into the top of hang

straight (E). Cut the cord to the desired length to make electrical connections.

At least 8” of wire will be needed to make proper electrical connections.

7. Lift the ﬁ xture to the ceiling and attach cross bar (B) to the outlet box using

mounting screws (D).

8. Make proper electricial connections described in steps 9 - 11.

9. Attach ground wire from the ﬁ xture (green or copper in color) to the ground

wire in outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and tightly wrap

connection with electrical tape.

10. Attach hot wire from ﬁ xture (black in color, or smooth side of wire) to hot

wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A) and

tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.

11. Attach neutral wire from ﬁ xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to

neutral wire from ceiling outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (A)

and tightly wrap connection with electrical tape.

12. Carefully push wire connections back into ceiling outlet box. Slide canopy (G)

up extensions (F) and hold ﬁ rmly against ceiling. Slide collar (F) up

extensions (J) and thread onto hang straight (G) to secure canopy (E) against

the ceiling.

13. Remove shade cover (K) by un-threading screws (J). Insert one 150W Max

Type A, medium base bulb into the socket.

14. Re-attach shade cover (K) using screws (J).

15. Reconnect main electrical supply at fuse box/ circuit breaker and test the

ﬁ xture.

** To clean, wipe with a soft cloth only. Do not use chemical or

abrasive cleaners as they can damage the ﬁ nish of the lamp. **
