ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR
KINETIC FLOOR LAMP
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack and place all parts on a level surface.
2. Align column (B) with base (D), pulling cord from below loader (E) to
prevent damage to the wire. Insert threaded nipple (C) through hole in
base (D) and loader (E).
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE WIRE WHEN
ATTACHING BASE (D) TO THREADED NIPPLE (C).
3. Hold base (D), loader (E), and column (B) together while pulling cord
tightly from below base. Carefully turn lamp over onto its side.
4. Slide washer (F) and nut (G) up wire and attach to exposed portion of
threaded nipple (C). Tighten nut (G) with wrench (H) provided to secure
base (D) and loader (E) to column (B).
5. Install one (1) 60 watt maximum Type A bulb into socket.
6. Remove protective cap (I) from polarized plug (J).
7. Insert polarized plug (J) into wall outlet.
ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
To increase the height of lamp, rmly grasp column (B) and carefully pull
column (A) up to desired position. To lower the height of the lamp, rmly
grasp column (B) and gently push column (A) down to desired position.

Turn the power off (unplug from the wall outlet) before replacing the bulb,
making sure the bulb has had sufcient time to cool down. Do not subject
the lamp to any shock while lit as shattering of bulb may result.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other)
as a feature to reduce risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized
outlet only one way. If it does not t fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. DO NOT ALTER THE
PLUG.
